Photographer Hei Ming |
Hei Ming was born in 1965 in Shanxi province. He graduated from the Tianjin Academy of Industrial Arts to later become a journalist for the China Youth magazine. Considered one of the best young artists in China, Hei Ming has received several gold prizes in Chinese Photographic Art, and additionally has obtained the title of "Best Photographer in Morality and Art". He has published several illustrated albums of his work, including Experiencing Youth, Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Love Songs of the Mountain, The Old Town of Pingyao, The Old City of Lijiang, Shanbei, The Chronicle of Xinyaozi, Legend of Tibet, Silence and Commotion, and The Red Color Soldiers at Mao Zedong's Time (in Japanese). His works have been exhibited many times in Chinese galleries. |
