1930 Born in Henan Province, China 1948 Enlisted in the military and worked as a propaganda photojournalist. 1949 He accompanied the armed forces into Tibet, attending the Qamdo campaign as the appointed war correspondent. 1955 He was wounded and thus changed his career. He was appointed photojournalist to a local newspaper office. 1982 He visited the US as part of a Chinese visiting delegation. He became an official member of the American International Photography club.
After more than a half century of reporting, Wang Shi Long has photographed the following series: "Gathering together the grain", "Fall harvest finished", "Fights Too Good", "Two Generation of People", "The Great Countryside Change Trilogy ". He has published the following albums "Historical Footprint", "The Elders South of the Yellow River,” "Character and style" and "Scenery." His photographs were also included in the anthology "Single opinion Instantaneous Record."
